It's time for the Annual Wilson Read-A-Thon!
The Wilson Read-A-Thon will run from Saturday, February 28th to Sunday, March 8th. This is one of the events we have planned for our students to celebrate Read Across America Week, as well as to raise money to obtain Biographies and other Non-Fiction resources to support classroom projects and independent student reading. It promises to be a fun, exciting journey that will get our students excited about reading.
These different types of reading count toward minutes read:
1. Independent Reading
2. Reading to a younger sibling or pet.
3. Being read to by teachers, parents, siblings, etc...
4. Listening to audio books.
5. Watching recorded books - like in EPIC!
Please log your minutes EVERY DAY! The LAST DAY to log minutes is Sunday, 3/8. Class winners will be announced daily and the class and individual finalists will be announced on Monday, 3/9.
